  1. Go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards", then "Ports of Call" and go to Cozumel.  There's also a website called Cozumelinsider.com and CozumelMyCozumel.com that you may find helpful.

You won't need to convert to pesos - dollars are easily used.

I've been to Coz several times on cruises and don't remember seeing anyone parasailing, but they must have someone who does it.  The people on CC would know, for sure.  There are ATV tours available, but I don't know anything about those.  A really nice thing to do is to go to Chankanaab Park [see website] or Paradise Beach [ditto]; I preferred Chank, but others love PB.  There are many other beaches and each has its proponents.  It's very easy to get a cab from town to the beaches.  One thing to consider is that there are often several ships in port at the same time in Coz and that can lead to crowds unless you plan your timing to avoid them.

  2. I don't know if it is the same tour as yours, but we did a tequila tour and it was a blast. They had like 15 different flavors of tequila to taste, each one in a medicine cup size taster. What a happy group we were and this was all way before noon time. We did this tour through the ship shore excursions which was really good because I don't suggest driving. As far as money goes, we got about $50 exchanged into Mexican money and the rest we used a credit card. I find it much easier to use a credit card. Have a great cruise. By the way, my cruise was with Princess, but I don't think that matters.
