I have been doing this for years and I am curious how many other people out there do the same.

  1. I don't bet sports professionally. There is too much long-term risk. And there is too much risk that a game is fixed from the inside (NBA referees).

But I DO bet baseball heavy as an investment every year. I use 2 systems that have shown me a profit every year since 2002.

  2. I do it for a living. I play poker as well but sports betting is my prime source of income.

I started off doing it for recreation and extra cash but by the time I finished law school I was making more in a month betting sports than I would make in a year as a lawyer so I said f*** law.

I can't complain. I drive a Porsche, I have a vacation home on the Mediterranean,  I don't have a boss, I don't have to be anywhere at any particular time. As far as careers go it certainly beats working at a Bay St law firm putting in 3000+ billable hours for a fraction of the pay.

There are some drawbacks. You pretty much have to pay cash for everything. No one is going to give you a mortgage or lease you a car with gambler as an occupation (in the States they will after a few years of claiming as a professional but not where I live) but I have never really had a need for credit so that hasn't been a big issue.

I've been doing it for 18 years and I love it.

  3. I am doing this since many years and every year I win nice money, but not enough for quit working. Its almost impossible

  4. i knew some gurus that  make a good living income every months from sport betting ,online casinos , horse racing ,poker .
