Has anyone took the chinese herbal pill JIA WEI ZIAO YAO WAN for irregular periods and had good results?

i am taking this with accupunture to increase my menstrual cycle which is only every 2 -3 months usually?

I haven't taken that pill, but I can tell you that quite a lot of Chinese medicine has hormonal effects -- replenishing or replacing hormones or lowering them, depending on the case.  My partner found that the Chinese medicine she takes for her allergies (Bi yan pian, and another one, which I don't remember the name of off the top of my head) raised her s*x drive and general energy level.  

    A search reveals the one you are taking is more commonly known as Jia Wei Xiao Yao Wan.

    Finally, Chinese medicine doesn't always work on everyone, but it tends to work for people who find Western medicine less useful!  Anecdotally, among the sample of people I know, one person of pure British/Scottish ancestry doesn't see good results with Chinese medicine, whereas two half-Jewish people (including myself) seem to work well with it, as does my partner who is mostly Native American.  And, of course, most every Chinese person.  So its effectiveness may be dependent on your genes.  If the Chinese medicine doesn't work for you, I'd recommend homeopathy, again from anecdotal evidence that these work on different types.
