We are going on a cruise with 9 others-including 4 kids. Our stops are at Costa Maya, Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios. Any suggestion on excursions? What can we expect from the Carnival Victory?

  1. Hey, when are you going? i am also on a carnival victory cruise. Departing January 14. You can find excursions info in the Carnival web site for each port.

  2. I have taken many cruises with all different cruise lines. I have taken several with Carnival. I have never taken any children with me although I am considering taking the 2 grandchildren I am raising with me next year.  I can tell you that on Grand Cayman there is an excursion that lets you swim and feed stingrays. Believe me, it was great.  I don't know how big or how old the children you are taking are but it was a great thing for me and my husband to do.

As far as the ship is concerned, I have been on several of the Carnival ships and they are all laid out the same. The only difference is that they have different themes so the clubs, bars and restaurants have different names and music. I have never taken a cruise that I didn't like so have fun. If you have never taken a cruise before here is a tasty tidbit of information for you. All of your food is paid for so eat, eat , eat. When you go to the dining room for dinner at night and you can't figure out which entree to get or which dessert to get. Get 2. It is already paid for so enjoy..... I wish I were going with you even though I just took a Carnival cruise out of Tampa in September.
