  1. Yes, before we owned a car, we used to take it a lot to go to our in-laws in northern Spain. (That was over 30 years ago!)

Since then, the busfleet has become very modern and has excellent service. It is cheap because buses are used a lot here in Spain for travelling, and that is how they keep the costs down.

I'm not sure about anything specific in the Granada - Madrid line. And the night lines are along most of the routes (if you can manage to sleep on a bus, take the night service, one wastes less time that way). I'd take the 1:30 one. It gets you to Madrid about 7 am. which is a good time, the 0:30 am. one gets to Madrid too early.

For more info. Continental have their own web page:

    www.continental-auto.es

  2. Continental Auto takes you to Granada from Madrid or the other way for 15€ one way. It is so cheap, because it is a major line and the route is taken so often by people.

trip takes less than 6 hours and overnight is ok.

Done it a couple of times this year.

  3. I think is cheap, but maybe only 20 € more cheap than fly, I´ll go from Madrid to Granada and the trip cost 65 €.
