I would like more information on tips to getting around and things to do. I've looked at the Korean tourism site already, but could use more details (e.g., did you bring car seats, availability of diapers and formula, sleep tips for time change from USA).

  1. Well I had two kids while I was there in Korea and they grew till about 6 years old and we came back to Canada.

    The summer is quite humid.

Yes there are a lot of baby formulas there in most convenient stores.  The guy can help if you tell the age of your kids.

Koreans don't use car seats.  At least I never saw before.  There are laid back on those rules.  Only front seat passengers must wear seatbelts.

In Seoul the Palaces are nice to see: Toksu, (and more), and Art Gallery has great shows there.  There in City Hall is a great field you can let your kids play in and there are water fountains.  The children's grand national park is fun.  But it is more for bigger kids.  Still the zoo is there.

You could use a guide if you don't have one.  All the taxis are not terribly expensive.  You can ask for "English Translator" and they'll call someone to translate for you with the handphones.

The subway is fairly simple and well connected throughout the city and cheap!!!  Itaewon is very fun for International restaurants.  There's much more though in Seoul.

    Good luck!
