Has anyone travelled on a ship of the Hurtigruten line along the coast of Norway ?

yes i have -- it was awesome!!!  i took it from tromso to bodo, through the lofoten islands.  just incredible.

if you are a student, get the discount -- it's like 50% off.  and if you are really poor, bring a sleeping bag -- you can sleep on the deck (outside or inside) if you can't afford the cabin.  it's a pretty expensive trip.  in fact everything in norway is expensive!!!

EDIT:  ms trollfjord.  one of the relatively new ships in the fleet.  i should note that these ships are nice but not very fancy.  they're more like upscale ferries with rooms.  the real reason to take this ship is for what you'll see, not for the amenities on board.
