Has anyone tried Bare Minerals foundation make-up?

I'm 15 and have been thinking about whether to buy it or not. I know it's a bit pricey, but I won't use it everyday. For people who have tried it, is it really that good, and worth the money? This set any good?

  1. I used bare minerals for 3 years. I actually prefer everyday minerals now. It contains the same ingredients as bare minerals minus the bismuth oxychloride which can irritate a certain peoples' skin. I never had a problem with it, but would still prefer a product without it if at all possible. They are a US company, but they do ship overseas. It costs less than half the price of bare minerals and I think it's great for everyday use. The powder lasts so long you can use it everyday for 2 years and you won't run out. The only expensive thing will be good brushes. You will need a concealer brush and either a kabuki or heavenly brush. I have tried 3 different kabukis, but prefer the heavenly because it gives better coverage with less product. If you can't get everyday minerals then yes, I would suggest bare minerals. It is very good. That is a very good starter set, it has everything that you would need.

  2. I absolutely love Bare Minerals and it is totally worth every penny. The starter kit comes with 2 foundations, Warmth, Clear Radiance, and brushes to get you started. I have been using my starter kit for almost a whole year... a little goes a long way! You should definitely try it, it is the best makeup I have ever worn.

BTW... the link you provided is the starter kit I was talking about, it's awesome!

  3. Omg i just got it recently it works wonders people tell me i look like I'm glowing and some dude told me he never noticed how beautiful i was

  4. yeah, it definitely is worth the money. it's good for your skin and goes on very smooth. in the sets that they come in, the makeup container is smaller than the ones they sell individually because you're getting all of that just to get started and see if you like it or not.. BUT you're getting all of those brushes that you can keep using. so I'd say go on and try it.. chances are you'll like it :) it goes on very very smoothly, doesn't leave makeup lines or anything.

  5. love it!! and that set is a great starter set. I started using it about 5 years ago and thats what i use all the time, tried others but i always go back. It makes me not get zits and the coverage is very good but it does not look like your wearing makeup. i just use their face makeup not the eyeshadow. The way i figure it is i want to put it on once and not have to do it again later  in a few hours like the cheap stuff. So i spend more and get to do it once in the morning before work and then im done

  6. love-love....love  it!!

  7. well my mother baught it and i must say its a big rip-off

yeah the brushes are nice but...

the makeup is soooo tiny like your thumb nail no litaraly!!

dont waste your money there charging you the expensive  nice brushes  no the makeup
