Has anyone tried Monistat Chafing Gel as a foundation/face primer?

I have never tried it but I might experiment with it.  It's never crossed my mind but it does have the same look, texture, etc of the Smashbox primer I have used.  

I love the Chafing Gel.  It has so many uses that this one wouldn't surprise me.

The article sounds a little too close to an advertisement for me and I couldn't find any links to the website outside of that article so I say, try it out, just use common sense.
