  1. Being a makeup artist I have pretty much tried them all. I know several people who used sheer cover and hated it (they had oompa loompa face-glowy orange). I don't recommend store brands as they are not pure minerals they are loaded with harmful chemicals and many like maybelline are coated with synthetic wax. Bare Escentuals says they are natural and they are not, they use chemcial parabean preservatives in their mineral veils and other formulas and they use a cheap mineral called bismuth oxychloride which is a well known skin irritant (google bare escentuals bismuth oxychloride itch-there are countless pages)

I personally have found the best Mineral Makeup to be Faerie Organic Minerals. They are affordable, They are ALL NATURAL, No preservatives, no bismuth oxychloride, no cheap fillers or coatings. They go on light airy and leave a gorgeous glow while covering really well. They use a higher end mineral called Boron Nitride which is anibacterial, a skin perfector and soother and has light reflecting properties which makes it great for wrinkles and just perking up a tired complexion. They also have a FREE sample kit at their site so you can try it ou before you invest all kinds of money. It is free you just pay shipping (its like $5.99) I know you'll love it once you try it. Read the reviews in their guestbook, people prefer it over bare escentuals, raw minerals and sheer cover. I know you will too. http://www.faerieorganic.com

  2. A girl I worked with for a while used it. The only thing was that you could tell she was wearing makeup, but it didn't look cakey.... So I guess it just didn't look very natural? Either it's the makeup or it was how she applied it. She also has normal skin, maybe dry, and it lasted her through work (so through running around and getting a bit sweaty haha). I don't think that you should resort to infomercial stuff. Look for brands in stores, and see if you can find a better alternative

Also, try looking on makeup alley, they probably have it reviewed (accounts are free btw, and seriously that website is like. The best website I've ever joined up to)
