  1. Yes.  I cook one every Thanksgiving.  The "feast" includes a Tofurky Roast, gravy, stuffing and dumplings.  It's much nicer than just eating salad, rolls and mashed potatoes!

  2. I had the roast at a holiday gathering. I thought it just seemed really "off" somehow. Texture, flavor, everything. But It had been roasted with little seasoning, so maybe that was the issue.

I agree that the deli slices are good, though.

To be fair in my review, I will add that I eat meat. But a lot of my friends are vegetarian so I've tried a lot of the "faux" meat :)

  3. I've never had Tofurky.

But I've tried the Yves brand of faux meat and its really good.

  4. I had the deli slices once. They were pretty good. The actual big tofurky turkeys looks really good too. I want to make one at Thanksgiving!

  5. Tofurkey is awesome.  The sliced Tofurkey is great for sandwiches, and the Tofurkey roasts are so good that I could eat them every day (we currently only eat them for holidays).

  6. OMG, yes! My family has had a Tofurkey roast every Thanksgiving and Christmas for the past five or six years. We all love it. And Tofurkey sausages and slices are really good too.

  7. We just used their Italian "sausage" in a pasta sauce and it was SOOO good!!! I am excited to try their other offerings! I might use the kielbasa in a stuffed mushroom recipe. =D

  8. nope but i was planning on trying it out this thanksgiving.

  9. I have and think its really gross!

But if you are a vegan its your only option. If you eat eggs though, look into Quorn. I love that stuff! A few people have an allergic reaction to it, but most are fine with it and you really can't tell its not meat.

  10. I haven't tried the holiday Tofurky roast, but I have had the Italian "sausages', "kielbasa", and deli slices and they are all really great.  I love the taste and the texture.

  11. Tofurky Deli Slices are one of my favorite fake meats, especially the Peppered flavor. They're great in wraps or subs. I usually spread some Vegenaise (vegan mayo) on the deli slices. I don't like the Tofurky roast for Thanksgiving.

  12. Tofurky is a brand with amazing products. I have tried their Tofurky Jurky, Tempeh, Tofurky Deli Slices (their Phill Style steak one is amazing!), and Tofurky Feast (for Holidays), so far, and all are pretty good.
