  1. Yes, It has happend to me. The following story is one I have published on http://www.redbubble.com/people/byebye/w...

A premonition is defined as: a strong feeling, without a rational basis, that something is going to happen. It was a premonition that started the horror story I am about to unfold. I will never forget that September day, the day that rocked my world. It started out as a wonderful day, but as it progressed and my premonition became stronger, it went spiraling down to depths unknown.

As I entered my classroom, I felt as if something was out of place and I couldn’t put my finger on it. As the day continued, I could not concentrate on anything around me. This over whelming feeling, this premonition, was starting to take over. Something was wrong and I could feel that evil would soon strike me and drag me down into darkness. Even my home was no source of comfort, as a matter of fact, the sense of doom became stronger. Day soon became night, and my fear grasped my lungs and would not let go. What was going to happen? I wondered.

I tossed and turned for hours in my bed; sleep eluded me. Looking over at my alarm clock, the big red letters read five in the morning. I groaned as the sinking feeling in my stomach intensified. Suddenly, I heard a noise and froze in my bed, terrified. I heard a shout and the howling of my dogs out side and I shuddered. Foot steps….they where coming closer, and closer, and closer to my door. Just then, a silhouette of a man appeared out side my brothers’ room. The man entered it then, and I hoped my brother would remain in his slumber, unharmed.

As the man left my brothers room and entered my own, I began to shake. I am not sure why I did it, but as he turned his gaze on my bed, I sat up, ridged.

“Are you awake little girl?” he whispered. Obviously I was so what else could I say?

    “Yes.” I whispered back.

    “Get up.”

I did as I was told. He searched my room trying to find something to hide his face, but soon gave up and commanded me to follow him into the light. I could see his face clearly then, and had he not just broken into my home, I would have thought him a seemingly kind man.

“Follow me.” He said. What else could I do? I followed him.

We where in my laundry room a few minutes later, and I was trying to avoid stepping on the broken glass from the window. His partner revealed him self then, only to run back saying,

“What the heck are you doing man?” He received no answer that I can remember.

The man held his gun firmly in his hand and said,

    “Where are your computers?”

I directed him to my parents office, then to the areas we where we had TVs at his request. Before long, he came to me again, as I was gazing out my kitchen window he said,

“You have three choices. We can tie you up here, you can be locked in your garage, or you can take a walk around the block.”

I chose the garage and for the only reason my eleven year old mind could muster at the moment, my cat was in there. If I was going to be scared, at least I would have some sort of comfort. We entered the garage just moments later and he looked at me with those cold eyes and said.

“ Do not go running to your momma now. If you do, we will come back and kill you all.”

He held up his gun as to make a point and leveled it at my temple. I nodded mutely, and then turned to gather my cat in my arms. When I turned around, he was gone. After he had left, I finally had the courage to open the back door in the garage leading to my patio. Gypsy, my faithful pit bull charged in like she was ready to defend me from the very pits of h**l. The entire time those men had been in my home, she had struck the door again and again, desperately trying to save me. Only God could have created such a wonderful animal to be my guardian angel, my eternal protector. She ran in front of me, and entered the house, frantically searching for the intruders that would dare to harm her precious family. I found my legs than and ran up those stairs faster than I have ever ran in my life or will ever run again. Soon after my family was awakened, I silently hugged my wonderful angel, silently wondering if things would ever be the same again. Could I ever again feel safe in my home? That question has still remained unanswered.

  2. ok my house was broken into a couple years ago, we werent home. when we got there we called the cops but they said there was nothing they could do about it. they only stole a cam corder. but just earlier today a big yellow van pulled up in my driveway and i pretended not to be home, they rung the doorbell numerous times and pulled violently at the k**b and started banging on the door.  and when i looked out the window they quickly ran off. i dont know if they were trying to break in but it really scared me.

  3. No, but what would help would be the cheapest method is to put stickers on all your windows and patio doors with a sticker that says, "Proctected by such & such". Also put a sign with a stake near your front door and back door with the same message. It would help the perpertrators to skip your house go next door.
