  1. I was amazed by the stuff that came out of my ears...I use to have to go get them irrigated by the doctor. The candles are much better. Just make sure you go to someone who knows what they are doing.

  2. Ear candles are a scam.  They don't remove anything at all from your ears.  Just read a few references:

  3. Personally, I loved it when I got my ears candled! Afterwards, I heard so much clearer, and all the gunk it got out was incredible.

Anyways, here's a chunk of info from our Ear Candling essays, on the site:

    Introduction to Ear Candling

Written by Christine Breese, D.D., Ph.D.

Ear Candling is an ancient process used by many cultures in history. It was often called ear coning, or ear cleansing, and was used in India, China, Egypt, Tibet, Aztec/Mayan cultures and even American Indians were privy to the process. Clay and stone pottery were designed for the procedure. Reeds from the Nile were used. Rolled up paper also works. These devices are still used in some traditions, but mostly cotton or linen cloth dipped in paraffin or beeswax is the process is still used today to heal ear conditions and is even taught to and practiced by medical doctors in some places.

The ancients, particularly the Egyptians also thought ear candling cleared the auras and spiritual center. Marian Brown, in her article Ear Candling—Removing a Lifetime of Debris (December 2002), explains, “It was believed to open and clear the spirit centers and refresh the auras.” The ancient Egyptians performed a series of 11 ear cleansings (not more than one week apart) so as to better hear God (Kirkgaard, 2005). Many testimonials claim that ear candling can increase a sense of well-being and clear the mind.

    I hope that helped!
