I live in Orlando so it's a short drive for me, and I've heard you can do it for really cheap, but I can't find any resources on where exactly to go...

  1. Yes, but many years ago. I belive those days are over. Sorry. You can still try it out. Here is my reccomendation. Go online. To the travel sights like Expedia, or Orbitz, and the cruise websites, from Port Canaveral, I reccomend Royal Caribbean. SO go on the website a few days before, see if they have rooms availible. If they do your in luck. If it is not a big travel week, buy, buy, bye, and bon voyage book, right then. Or try a travel agent. The only problem is you have to be willing to sacrifice good rooms on good decks. Make sure you have a passport to, restrictions have changed. Have fun, Good Luck.

  2. I dont know about showing-up the day of....due to tightening restrictions on travel for security reasons. However, there is a site called vacationstogo.com. They have a 90 day ticker of all the cruises leaving in the next 90 days, at discounts up to 75% off. The closer the date...the higher the discount. It is a geat site..I use it all the time. Go to the site, and just click the banner that says90 day ticker. I have seen 7 day cruises for as low as $299.

  3. This is an excellent site with some wonderful options for you.

  4. I went on line and got a really really cheap cruise for me and my friends thru Carnival. Just tell them you want last minute deals. We had 24 hours to embark.
