  1. It's a scam.  See the link below.

  2. Anyone who dismisses this as a scam is a knucklehead.

Is HHO gasoline assist the BEST way to improve mileage? no, but it does work. You can't power your car solely on HHO, but it does improve the efficiency with which you use gasoline.

If it's a scam, then why do some semi tractor trailers run with propane kits (using propane like hydrogen) to boost their diesel efficiency. Some truckers complain of burned rings, but used correctly there is a significant increase in fuel mileage. It may be from 5 to 7 mpg, but that's a lot of diesel saved when driving across country.

Why don't all new cars come with it? Think car companies want to deal with warranty issues due to this?  It's an added hassle and you wouldn't want your average mechanic tinkering with it.

You can do the math and say there's no gain, but it does work and it's only worth the hassle to install for some. There's so much energy unused when burning gasoline. What if adding hydrogen/propane makes the burning more efficient. What if adding hydrogen makes the gasoline burn hotter? If you know the Carnot efficiency equation, that leads to a more efficient engine.

Think about that before you go saying it's a scam. Does it make sense to spend $1000 to do this? $1000 is a lot of gasoline (less nowadays) and is it worth the hassle? Most people would say no and just buy more gas over time.
