  1. Ultrasonic (plug in) devices

The federal trade commission has stated that these devices are ineffective in controlling rodents, that they do not cover the advertised area, and that they do not prevent rodents from entering an area. Furthermore there have been no studies that prove these devices work. While an ultrasonic device may provide some deterrence it is likely that the rodents will get used to the sounds it makes and eventually ignore it. Just read some of the experiences people have had with these.

  2. We had problems with mice for two winters. Then bought an Ultrasonic Electic Magnetic plug-in

by Pest Stop, I can definately recommend this device, we have had no problems for the past three winters. Marvellous device.

  3. I have, the ones i use are made by Sunbeam. Two years ago we had trapped over 20 mice, while at walmart buying more traps the cashier suggested these devices. And they most certainly do work. I have not had one single mouse in my kitchen in two years, the key is to replace them every year and use in as many outlets in any areas where they are, I have several other pets and they do not effect them in any way! good luck

  4. we bought two and found they didn't work just a waste of money we were well disappointed , and it drove next doors dog wild!!! lol

  5. I have a rat problem as well. See video

  6. Yes,we spotted a rat near where we live, not in our home.I bought one of these devices and none have been seen anywhere near our home since. We bought it in the gardening section in Wilkinsons stores.

Our neighbours told us that the rats they saw in their homes have all gone.

Contrary to what Allen B has answered they do work,we have done it and pets remain unaffected.

  7. yes and they do work.........but if you have pets in the home, it will affect them also.  Big waste of money for me, LOL
