I would like to hear success and failure stories, the same, about this product. It is my goal to be a non-smoker, once again. But i need help with the withdrawal symptoms (my mind is right....but my body is craving the nicotine). I'm not interested in chantix, zyban or wellbutrin because i'm not really into taking prescription drugs if they can be avoided (i know...don't ask why i smoke cigarettes). I'd only like to hear about Smoke Deter, other homeopathic treatments, or different methods (aside from cold turkey) that i don't know about.....thanks♥

  1. Homeopatutionthy has been effective for my clients under "constitional care" -- that is, they personally see me once monthly for several visits, usually for other health problems (i.e., PMS). As a side effect of deep balance and restoration, catalyzed by a customized homeopathic remedy, the emotional and physical desire to smoke abates. In N. America, http://www.homeopathicdirectory.com lists certified, professionally trained homeopaths.

Prior to our work, some people did try various over-the-counter conventional and alternative methods, including some homeopathic "combination" remedies. They didn't work, or not for long, because these products are not targeted for them as individuals.

EDIT: I just checked out the ingredients for this newest "homeopathic" product, Smoke Deter. Basically, it's the pharmaceutical industry (if not an individual) capitalizing on the growing popularity of homeopathy, without actually offering homeopathy (the philosophy for giving a remedy, not the remedy itself). I was right in that Smoke Deter is a combination remedy - meaning, the manufacturer includes a number of remedies that might singly help a person. Aconite, for example, is when a person has a history of severe fright (that might no longer be felt). Nux vomica is common in today's world of over-stimulation and overwork. For such a product to work (usually), the remedy you need as an individual - a constitutional remedy - would need to be in it. Considering there are thousands of homeopathic remedies in thousands of potencies, the odds are slim. Having said that, it won't hurt (except $$$) to use this product. I also believe in an intuitive draw for people. Follow your mind-heart, which never leads one astray.

  2. I just ordered Smoke Deter myself. After reading this review online: http://www.smokedeter-review.com/ I thought it's worth a try.

The good thing about Smoke Deter is that it reduce the nicotine craving very rapidly. Already after 1 day you are supposed to feel it "kick in", or the nicotine "kick out" :)

    Good luck.
