Has anyone tried the store bought shrooms that you can buy at your local smoke shop?

I was at a local smoke shop place called puff n' stuff and saw that they had shrooms in a jar and it looked like the brand name was "Soma" i was just wondering if these will work as good as normal shrooms that you buy off the street. I don't want to waste my $50 on these but if they work and make you trip then I am going to buy them. So do they work?

I suppose from yoou description and the use of the term "Soma" that these mushrooms are Amanita Muscaria.  They are legal but in no way related to the "magic mushrooms" sold on the street.  Their chemistry is very different.  They do not give the same effects and are much more toxic.  Though deaths from taking them are very very rare.  They produce a deep spiritual expericnce in some and in others they make them sick.  So yes....They "work".  But I need to warn you that the effects are nothing like the other mushrooms.  They are used for serious spiritual exploration and not something one enters into lightly.  You can research Amanita Muscaria on the internet to learn more.  You will read pro and con.
