Has anyone tried to build a Bedini Generator?

I personally never tried, but some people have and asserted they succeeded in reproducing the claimed results. When I first heard of these "free energy generators" more that 20 years ago I was extremely skeptical. I'm not so sure now.

The genius Nikola Tesla, based on some of  his experiments, stated that empty space was not empty, but contained vast amounts of energy, what we now call vacuum energy. So, who knows?
