Question:

Has anyone tried to repair an aluminum row boat with bed liner stuff or maybe had advice on if it will worl?

key hints i don't think aluminum will corrode between the bed liner and aluminum. my main question is will it stick and will it help

  1. if you can't get it MIG welded,pop rivet a patch of aluminum over the sealant to prevent flexing...it will still probably leak,so use it on a lake,not  whitewater...


  2. I had to do mine just two years ago I used a aluminum tented marine sealant in the tube because so many rivets had given way. Still floating and it was relatively cheap. Then after you seal it test it then put your carpet if you like

  3. I found some stuff called aluminium weld in a squeeze tube, or some JB Weld. That is a pretty good temporary fix. Your best bet is a mig welder. Body shops usually have mig welders.

  4. put a out door carpit with a indoor carpit under it
