Has anyone used Footnote.com? Any problems cancelling free subscription?

I am tempted by their free 7 day trial, but I am not sure of they are trust-worthy -- before I enter my credit card info for the free trial, I thought I'd ask if there has been any issues with them -- or it it's even worth applying for the trial if there isn't much documentation, etc

 I took the free trial but it appears that Footnote used the date which I had signed up for the basic "free" membership, not the acceptance date as the start of the "free trial" period. I plan to appeal this through my cc company and see if they will stop the payment. It might be a fluke or a normal business practice. Information wise they had a good index of census data and some WW I data but some other pay sites have more complete data.
