Has anyone used GuaranteedRate.com for a home mortgage? What does their $995 cover? What were you responsible for?

  1. I ended up using a local lender. The $995 covers all your closing costs. It is very attractive.  You normally pay $2,995.  But i worry that they are far away and full of promises.  So i chicken out.  Please let us know if you use them. /
