I'm thinking about turning over my large debts owed to them. I just really need to know how reputable they are and if they have helped anyone out there other than the testimonials they have posted at their website.

  1. Hi,

I used "Credit Solution" to settle my debt and avoid bankruptcy. They managed to reduce my debt up to 58%.It's legitimate.I came across this company on NBC News Special Edition.Check it out here:

  2. Cologne,

I'm not familiar with this particular company, but there's a good article at eHow on steps to take to begin tackling your debt.  Take a look at it:

    http://www.ehow.com/how_2326032_avoid-es...

    How to Stop Escalating Debt

It includes information on companies (both non-profit and for-profit) that can help you with debt consolidation and reduction.

You can also look here for tips on earning some extra cash online:

Lastly, here's an interesting alternative to conventional lending...getting a "social networking" loan from Virgin Money (from the same folks who run Virgin Airlines):

    Hope these help.

  3. What do you consider 'large debt'. Not to make light of your financial situation but credit 'help' companies charge you for what you can do yourself for free.

Unless you owe mega thousands, which you'd be declaring bankruptcy, I wouldn't do it.

Get copies of your credit reports from the 3 agencies:

    www.equifax.com

    www.transunion.com

    www.experian.com

Go over them for any errors, inconsistencies or negative accounts past the 7 yr statue of limitation. Dispute any erros with the credit bureau in writing (keep copies). They have 30 days to reply. Anything that is still wrong and not removed need a 'debt validation letter'. Send this to the bureau(s)...if they can't validate within 30 days, they have to delete it.

Speaking of delete....if you have valid debts, contact the creditor/collection agency and ask for a 'pay for delete' in exchange for payment agreement(s) or satisfaction of the debt. Get it in WRITING.
