Has anyone used Still Shot2 lighting equipment.?

Question

I am a armature photographer wanting to buy lighting equipment and other accessories. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, but wanting something that will do the job. I was just wondering what you thought about this company and there products? Would you recommend them or not. and why?

The likely problems are likely to be some or all of the following:

Non-standard fittings, so accessories are very limited or non-available

,Inadequate power,Inadequate/no adjustment of power ,Inadequate/no modeling lamps,Inconsistent power output,Inconsistent color temperature ,poor build quality , inablility to have repairs, no after purchase service,Slow recycling,electrical/fire hazard ....to name a few.

Stick with alienbees or other known brand, buy what you can afford one at a time. You will be far better off.
