Has anyone used a bug zapper indoors?

just wondering cause we had a fly problem in the house and put a bug zapper in side and i was just wondering if anyone else had done this

Yep, it took all last summer to get rid of 'em.

Yikes!  That sounds a bit dangerous to me!  Plus, doesn't that zapping sound drive you crazy?  Then again, most men seem to enjoy watching the bugs "fry"...creepy, I know, but true!

Anyway, we've had fly issues in the past and used to purchase fly strips that have a VERY sticky residue on a long plastic strip...just hang from the ceiling and you'll be amazed how many you catch.  (You can typically buy these from local hardward store or maybe a Walmart??)
