Has anyone used a ouiji board?

me and my best friend are thinking of getting one and doing the whole "go in a dark room with lit candles" thing and do it.

has it actually worked for anyone? any good stories about it?

Go ahead and try it if you are interested in it.  Some people find it entertaining.  I used a Ouija board years ago and nothing happened.  Nothing happened when some of my friends played the Ouija board.  I actually found the whole experience incredibly boring.  Scrabble is much more fun, more interesting, and more exciting.  

The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  It does not communicate with the dead and it does not contact spirits.  It does not open any portals to the underworld or to anywhere else.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

yes and yes in high school us boys crep up on the girls useing one in the drak with candles at an old house and belived some almost pee therepaints we thought we never be able to take any of those girls out on a date again but man in was funny i close the car door on my hand trying to not make to much noise that hurt but i never scream out but man them girls did when we found them at this old farm by the well so dont tell any boys

My Grandma had one when we were little. Nothing ever really happened with it. We were little though and my cousin kept asking for Elvis.

When I was 14 I asked if a certain girl would 'go out with me'.  I was pulling it towards yes and my cousin was pulling it towards no (he liked her too).  We started cracking up after that, but never play again.

Its fake. When u try it with someone else it moves cuz the other person moves it. try it by urself and nothin will happen.

A few times.  We found that, with a few people keeping their hands on the pointer thing, and a little spooky concentration, it would  spell out stuff.  Dirty words mostly.

Naturally nobody would ever admit to intentionally pushing the thing around.

I suggest you do not use one do to the simple fact that it can become a gateway to the spiritual world.  There are many stories of it working but please do not use it, for you do not know what you can get yourself into.

It is like any other game. Yes, I have done it. But there is so much cheating - again like any other game - not worth the chalk we sprinkled.

I had fun though after I finished it. We laughed and laughed later. So, it was a blast in the end.

Do it, but be aware it is all in the name of fun and entertainment. Do not ever take it seriously.

I dont think the people actually get that your doing it for fun. And yea there are people that belive it works. So like she said u people need to chill.
