Has anyone used silver biotics to treat themselves and/or a baby with chronic ear infections?

I've never heard of anyone using it for an ear infection, but it is fantastic for the immune system, so some people might try it for that.

However, I wanted to point out that it should NOT be given to a child (much less an infant) unless their pediatrician specifically recommends it. An infant's body is much smaller than an adult's and hasn't yet developed a need for a lot of minerals (aside from Calcium for healthy bones) or an efficient way to handle them... that's one reason that children shouldn't have extra Iron and Silver is no exception.

I have given my small toddler silver and is a great antiseptic and natural antibiotic.  I would look at your childs dairy consumption as every child that i know has been bottle fed with formula has had terrible ear infections and ear wax issues.

And finally, another piece of research from Finland, suggests that persistent ear infections are always more prevalent in children who have a cow's milk allergy, which causes them to make more mucus than other children but may not have any other effect on their general health. In one study an astonishing 86% of the children tested became free of ear problems once they came off dairy food.
