  1. well the wide bottles are referring to the nipples i assume. and that is just for babies transferring from breastfeeding to bottle feeding..the nipples are wide like a nipple. so i dont think changing bottles is really going to help. unless you dont have the bottles that block air. i use ventair standard. try that.

  2. I breastfeed, but I have given my baby a couple bottles of breasmilk and used the Dr. Brown's bottles...but not the wide ones.  My baby has gas sometimes too.  Have you tried any gas drops?  Is she fussy?  If she isn't fussy and just has gas it's probably fine...if she seems fussy and uncomfortable, you might look into switching formula or eliminating some foods from your diet if you are using breast milk.  Sorry I don't have any advice about the bottles...you can also try Gripe water for babies discomfort..some moms swear by it.

  3. one small drop peppermint oil on teaspoon that should help alot. just barely  place in babies mouth. the facial expression is a bit strange.it worked wonders for my kids.  and i had a gassy baby

  4. they has gas medicine at walmart for infants or if she is getting gassing it could be because she is getting to much air in with her food or when she crys

  5. there is really no difference ..we use the skinnies.. maybe you should try your daughter on enfamil gentlease for gas and fussiness..it worked for us.. you can ask your doctor about switching, but if she is gaining weight they won't suggest it.. i switch even though they say not to ..and it helped greatly!
