I was looking at it,

does it come with a head cover?

I was looking at the price of the shafts and was amazed. 300 for a graphite shaft! and they want you to buy 10 different 300 dollar shafts so you can hit in the worst conditions. When the h**l am i going to play when it is raining out!

anyway, how is the club? which shaft would you recommend

  1. It hits like a regular club. Buy why would you need a different type of shaft?

If your swing speed calls for a certain type of shaft, why would you change it? If I'm fitted for a regular flex, 36in shaft, and standard size grips, why would I need anything different? All that BS for changing conditions and whatnot is marketing hype.

You don't need 3 different shafts for one swing.

  2. I use one.

I use the FT-i Tour LCG with a Diamana Blueboard 73S. It does come with a headcover.

It may seem like a lot of money when you look at in general, but if you get into details, it's not that bad at all.

A glued in FT-i Tour LCG with a Diamana Blueboard is going to cost at least $690. The same driver with i-Mix technology will be approx. $720.

Say you wanted to buy another Diamana whiteboard shaft. With i-Mix, you have to pay another $300. Whereas if you didn't have an i-Mix, you'd have to buy a hole new driver. In result if you wanted to basically have to drivers, the i-mix is going to save you about $400.

That $30 difference between glued in heads and i-mix gives you the opportunity to buy different shafts for different conditions (if you want) or just buy a new shaft when you have outgrown one if the head is still in good shape, exchange heads for different courses (FT-5 for courses with lots of doglegs and FT-i for straighter courses).

Personally I don't have more than one shaft yet but I am planning on getting a Diamana Whiteboard 73S. Since I hit the blueboard with high launch, I want a low launching shaft so I can change for different courses. I take the game pretty seriously and play in lots of competition, if you wanted to know.. I'm really enjoying the driver right now and it doesn't feel any different or perform any different than a glued in head

As far as a shaft, you will have to get fitted to one that fits you!
