I have just ordered this to do my basement bathroom with (thanks to a great tip from one of my previous questions) I am just looking for some feedback from people who have installed this in their basements and elsewhere. It seems to be very new in Canada because no one has any info on it. I would just like to know how well it works? How easy it is to install? How much noise does it make? I will also be attaching a shower and sink as well to it.

  1. They have been on the market for many years in UK.  My friend has one installed on the ground floor of her house and it is fine.  The only thing you really have to be careful of is not to let wet wipes or any thing like that go into it because it will block it.  If you only use toilet tissue then it will be fine.  I didn't think it really makes very much noise at all.  I have also used one in a hotel conversion which was fine.  They are ideal if you cannot install the traditional waste pipes.  Look on a UK website there might be more info. as we have had them so long.
