Has anyone used the cheap ebay tig/plasma welder?

Is it worth buying it, does it last?

It is a throw away.  If you are a contractor that only needs the welder for a couple of welds, I guess it would be okay.  But why not just rent one if that is what you need?

You can not buy parts to repair, so you are just throwing your money away.
