I cant surf, because i dont live near a ocean. I just skimboard in lakes, but im tired of using my wood skimboard, so I looked it up and its pretty cheap for a foamie. It says the weight limit is 240-250 is that right? It doesn't seem right to me. I weigh 180, and i'm not sure if it would work or not. Any other suggestions for skimboards 80 to 100 dollars would be nice.

  1. i've never used it but the 2 reviews on amazon say it's not a bad board and to get it especially for the price it's at. i say go for it. the weight range is definitely incorrect as it is 44 inches long and a bigger board would probably be needed to remain buoyant for that weight/height. your weight should be fine. i say go for it.

  2. ive never heard of body glove you might be better off looking at zap skimboards

  3. hey I Love skimboarding same as you, you can get fiberglass skimboards also much better and the do have carbon fiber but those are over 400$ Fiber glass ones cost in your range depending on what type you get

I wan't to go to california Laguna beach aliso and try real wave skimboarding like surfing seems fun

    good luck!
