Has anyone used the pet kennels onboard the Queen Mary 2?

We are planning on travelling from NY to Southampton on the QM2 this year. We are taking a cat and dog with us. Has anyone used the kennels onboard the QM2? If so, are they very spacious, and what is the service like?

We saw the kennels and were very impressed.  We did not take our pet, but I wouldn't hesitate to use them if the need arose.
