Has anyone used the safe or locker in "Jazz on the park" hostel in NYC before?Do they have one?

I am going to stay in "jazz on the Park"Hostel in NYC soon.

I am a backpacker,I don't wanna to carry to many things with me,

so is there a safe or locker in this hostel?

Are the safe or locker really safe?(I mean can you trust them to put your money or passport in?)

If they have a safe or locker,does it cost money to use them?

If you have ever been "Jazz on the Park"Hostel,

would you recommend me to use the safe or locker to keep my important staffs?

And how anout the suitcase?Do I need to buy a chain to chain them when I am not inside of the hostel?

Sorry,it may sounds funny to a lot of backpackers,HA~~~

but it's my first time to stay in a hostel !! ^_^

I don't wanna bring them out when I am traveling cause I am afraid that I may lose them!

So I really need to know if I could keep my important staffs there when I am out!

Yikes.. Dont stay in a NYC hostel.  i did it a while back and would never again. i would pay any amount of money to stay in a regular hotel, or i would stay in a hotel in the suburbs.
