  1. Which La Marina do you mean. That just translates into English as "The marina". There are hundreds of Marinas. My favourite is Marina de la este on the Costa Tropical.

  3. I think you mean La Marina in Alicante?

    However, the other answerer is right. There are lots of places called that in Spain.

    The area is OK. There are lots of English bars, shops and restaurants if that's your kind of thing.

    The surrounding area has nice beaches, however most areas are quite commercialised and not ideal if you are really looking for a bit of Spanish culture.

    You can probably get cheap holiday rentals there though and it is a fairly cheap area to go out/drink etc.

    You would need to fly in to Alicante or Murcia (San Javier) airports to get there.
