Has anyone visited Tabarca island?

I'm off to Almoradi in Spain soon, And I an thinking of visiting Tabarca island as I've never heard of it. Is it worth a visit?

  1. Well if you like to go out on a boat for 30 mins then yes  it's worth it. Enjoy the view of Santa Pola from the sea, and take a few pics, but when you get to the island there are a few bars, restaurants and plenty of souvenir shops for you to spend your money.

    I have been with my Spanish grand daughter, not very exciting. But you could get the glass bottom boat and see the marine life. I have added a link that may help, (it looks very interesting in this link, make your own mind up)

    Almoradi has a great market but beware of pickpockets in crowded places.


  2. It´s a nice day out and you can go on the Supervision Catamaran with glass bottom. There are 3 or 4 hotels if you fancy staying overnight and about 15 bars and restaurants. Some close during the winter but they all should be open now.
