  1. My travels to Cuba are usually around that time (August to November) and I've always loved it.

You will not really have much to worry about risks of storms. Although hurricane season ends November-time, you won't have a problem. The average rainy days are maybe 10 in the month of October...November the average is 5. It's not really much. There may be some rain but that only lasts for a few minutes in the day (and it's not daily)...and most of the rain comes in the evenings (again not always either). You will always be able to enjoy the beach and full outdoor activities everyday. If it rains, it'll actually be refreshing and give you time to cool off for a few minutes and then back out in the water. Never any inconvenience :-)

There was one time when there was a storm brewing and hotel staff was alert and cautious. But nothing happened as it passed over. I've never had that experience again.

The times I've experienced more rain is when I'm about to go for dinner in the evening. The hotel rooms usually have umbrellas for you so you don't get wet walking to the restaurants, lobbies, etc...again, doesn't happen every night...only once in awhile.

Go ahead and book your holidays and have an amazing time!

  2. Yes with no problems however it is still hurricane season which doesn't mean there will be any but it is hurricane season until the end of November.  Check the sites below for more information.

  3. If you check the records, you will see that in recent years, Cuba has suffered hurricanes in October a number of times. So there is certainly a risk.

I guess all the other answerers have just been lucky.

  4. I have visited Cuba in September, October, and December and the weather was fine.

Normally the risk for problems and storms is low, you have to have some luck.
