Has anyone visited the Ramoji rao film city? if yes how was the experience?

Yeah - i have visited it twice.

I really liked it ... it's definitely worth a visit.... it's like a small, multi-coloured world in itself. U want company - so travel with a lot of people. if u want privacy - u can easily trudge off alone. It can turn out to be a dream holiday if u really know how to manage. There r play-pens for the hilarious types, excellent 5 * restaurants, guided tours ( my personal advice is, if u have two days to spare, take a guided tour on the first day and on the second, trudge off by urself and visit places tht caught ur attention).

wow is the word.. u can all the places where daid dhavan has shot the movies.

i met paresh rawal there. and i saw all those plces which look wow in movies

I was working for ramoji film city for more than a year as sound engineer the place will be very good for visiting purpose a u can see in day we can have night sets(Night effect) and lots of idle places for which movies like annamayya and others lot of good things food is very expensive

its realy very good place if u realy want to see something good or if u want to see the bollywood film city ramoji is one of them its very big and very nice if u are movie mania then u will come to know who they are completing one movie in a single studio and we are thinking that they went alll over the world the fact is in ramoji go and check even i visited ramoji so many times i'm also working in same field tats why for project purpose i went there near about 2-3 times its good no doubt

that's a nice to be, but you better spare a whole day if uwant to see the whole of it!;-)

It's a pretty good place to visit if its a bright cool day. If you like movies you'll really enjoy the place. One recommendation, if you really like the tour of the sets, DO NOT go for it again (to double the enjoyment, or so you'd think). It's really boring the secong time round.
