Has anyone visited the village of clejani in romania?

I'd like to visit clejani in southern romania to study some local music for a while. If you have ever been there please describe your thoughts and experiances.

Why this particular village? Only because of Taraf de Haïdouks?

Giurgiu county has a large Rroma population, so you will certainly find lots of fascinating musical instruments...including a type of homemade "electric violin" that gives Rroma music its lively sound.  I also suggest stopping along the way in other places, because every region has its own flavor and culture...so you will get a more complete picture by stopping in a few places.  Also, if you can fenagle a few invitations to weddings in the village, definitely go.  You will see real Romanian and Rroma traditions and music.
