My husband wants to go on a family vacation to Disney Land for Christmas this year instead of spending it at home. Has anyone ever went during this time and what's the weather like? Is it worth or should we wait until next summer? Thanks

  1. I have been to Anaheim in early January a few times.  The weather is fine - you might need a sweater and you may want to avoid wet rides without a waterproof jacket, but otherwise it is great.  I would rather it be too cool than too hot - you can always put clothes on.

During the Xmas - New Year break the crowds will be horrible, but a week or two later on weekdays you spend more time walking down where the lines usually are than you do waiting.

  2. the thing about it during christmas is yes, it's very crowded. but also equally festive and the decorations are wonderful! everything is so christmas-y and makes you feel all happy and cheery. versus the summer where it's hotter and not as interesting to stand in line and wait for rides, during christmas it's colder so yeah won't have to worry about sunburns and such. plus more reasons why to have fireworks! and the shows are all very tinkle-y and brightly lit. i went to the hong kong disneyland for my first time during december, and it was SO COOL!! mind you it's a lot smaller so it didn't have that many people. and when in florida, i went to the disney WORLD which was very neat because it was still hott [in florida] yet it still felt like winter when i was there. but yes, it is much more crowded and you probably would have to wait longer for rides and stuff, but it's a lot of fun :]

  3. its beautiful at christmas....give it a try...

    have fun.

  4. Wait! This is the busiest time of the year for them. There's millions of people in the park its hard to even walk.
