  1. Difficult to be accepted as a tutor. Many applications, few vacancies. Why don't you join a another online tutoring company that can help you better. For example:

    (1) http://www.tuitionplaza.com/tutoring/

    (2) http://wwwtutor.org

    (3) ... and many more


  2. It is difficult to get in, like any professional job can be, but from my personal experience, it is the best thing I've done as far as a job out of college goes. I'm a stay at home mom, pregnant with my third child, and have student loans to pay off. It took me about a month to land a position with Tutor.com, but it was totally worth it. You just have to be patient and really know your material. You get to make your own schedule for the most part, the pay is good, and the job is just wonderful as far as working with students goes.
