Has anyone worked at Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Germany?

I might be working there soon and I was wondering if it was a good place to work, if the employees all hang out together, if it was worth the 13 months away from home, any info at all would be helpful! Thanks!

I've never worked there, but it is run by the military, which can have good and bad points. It also happens to sit almost smack-dab in the middle of one of the best vacation/tourist spots in Germany. There will be no problem finding things to do, whether you want to go dancing, hiking, drinking or swimming. The whole area is set up to entertain. I would imagine that it would be very service oriented at the Lodge, so a certain flexibility of work hours and schedule should be expected. Other than being away from the US, it should be similar to any other resort area job. If you do take the job, be sure to explore Europe while you're here, you won't regret it.
