what did you think of it as an employer?

they treated me like a slave, making me work 15 hour split shifts more than once a week because their staff turn over was so bad, the managaer used to make "newbies" cry on their first shift and they never came back!! Making us stay to 5am in the morning cleaning when we stop getting paid at 1am.

i just want to know what other Wetherspoons (i worked in a Lloyds No.1 Bar) treat their staff like!

  1. its like working at mcdonalds isn't it, they have they same type of staff.

  2. What does your contract say.   those are the hours you work the can't make you work more and they can't sack you if you don't work overtime.and if you do make sure they pay you for them

  3. Maybe you should have been tougher. I've always found them fine. Maybe you were lazy and incompetant.
