Has anyone worked for combined insurance?

im thinking about becoming a salesman for combined insurance selling accident insurance im wondering is it a good company and is it a good idea has anyone here worked for them working for them at present

I worked for them for three months and got paid an average of $150 a week (or less).  The training is 3 weeks!! (Not 2 like they tell you) I was  working 14 hour days and in the car all the time.    I was traveling two hours away from home every day my first couple of weeks.   It was very hard on my family.  I know that starting a job means sacrifice, but this experience was over the top.   Most weeks I actually lost money (gas, tolls) I also learned real fast I am not pushy enough to sell insurance door to door.    

If you have sales experience, are very driven, have 3 months of income saved up and have no family obligations, then you have nothing to lose but time, but really look into what you are willing to sacrifice first.  I would try getting into to a different organization.

I do not have personal experience with Combined.  But I have not heard much positive from those who have worked there.

A few thoughts to consider

Do they have the products you would want to offer?  

Are you comfortable with the way they want you to sell?

Do you think you can make a living selling their products?  How many sales would you have to make to survive?

Have you looked at other companies in the industry?

Oh, don't work there, lots of other reputable companies to work for. You will not like it I promise. You will be cold calling door to door all day or selling to family and friends. Do you have your insurance license??
