  1. Yes, I work for Flextronics in North Carolina in a global role. Pending on what type of job you are looking for it can be a fun company to work for. If you are into travelling, a very fast paced environment and such then I highly recommend it. If you let me know what type of position they are asking about I may be able to fill you in with some info.

  2. They are a very large contract manufacturing firm.

  3. Flextronics is a large contract manufacturer, mainly of electronics products. The company is now based in Singapore and operates in 30 countries. They had total revenue last year of just under $31 billion. The company has grown substantially through acquisitions, including Solectron, which they bought out last year for about $3.6 billion. A few years back, Flextronics was named one of the 100 best managed companies, and management has not changed significantly since then. One of their largest customers is Microsoft, for whom they build Zune, xBox, and xBox360.

  4. Our company deals with them.  I wouldn't recommend them.  They seem like a disorganized company.  They outsource everything and you can never get a hold of anyone there.
