Has anyone worked with the TEFL program?

What is the deal with TEFL? is there a college degree required to teach abroad? I am very interested in the program for Spain- PLEASE any information, especially from anyone who has experience with the program.

it depends on the country, and also the individual language school

some want a college degree and / or TEFL qualification, some are happy if you are only a native speaker

i think English-teaching is quite competitive and not well-paid in Spain, a lot of people want to go there and have a nice working holiday in the sun
