Has anyones tongue ever burned form eating Kiwi?

High school I went to use to serve fruits of choice to the students an I would get a kiwi and have a burning tongue.

  1. yeah all the time. I love kiwi, but I hate the burning. Its just because of the citrus though. nothing serious.


  2. OH! that happens to me too! I think it might be an allergy kind of thing...so i just don't eat it at all. :S  

  3. Maybe you have an allergic reaction towards kiwi.

  4. High acidic fruit. Just don't eat so much of it, or sprinkle with sugar to try and disguise it a bit.

  5. maybe you had a cut on your tounge or something

    also kiwi has lots of fruit acid
