  1. Yes indeed.  It is safe, fascinating and beautiful. As long as the tour program is chaperoned and guided they will love it.  Lots of Americans live there.  It is also credited with Eco-tourism.  Wonderful place!  My Sister was a Geologist and spent time there exploring the volcanoes, jungles and topography.  She spent time there traveling alone so yes it is safe!

  2. I'm not saying it just because my family lives there, but it is really quite a safe place to travel. It is a tourist country so a lot of English is spoken. You'll see Americans everywhere! Costa Rica is one of the few countries in the world without a military and it shows because Ticos are quite friendly! Just like anywhere here in the US, make sure they don't wander off and get lost because in this case there is a language barrier. I go every year and have traveled to the best and worst parts of the country. Everything will be fine! Thanks be to God for allowing children like yours to go on missions to aid and spread the goodness of the Lord. Good luck and this will be something they will remember always!

  3. Relax  they'll be fine Mom.

  4. the ticos are perhaps the most joyful people i have ever encountered in my life. im 16 and i was in cr about a week and a half ago and i made so many best friends with the ticos, it was so much fun! Dont worry, mom your kids will be fine!

  5. let them go. they would have an amazing experience here... just tell them to watch their belognings and everything would be a'right
