Has democracy, which is supposed to react more quickly to "correct" malfunctions than other forms of government, failed in the western world? Requires more than a yes/no answer, so please try your best. Think about the current administration, torture, lies, corporate media etc.

  1. I agree with loan dude. Are you just looking for someone to validate your feelings? Are you that insecure in your convictions? You libs are all alike; can't feel good about something unless someone else agrees with you.

And to answer your question, yes democracy has demonstrated that it is the best form of government. It is far from perfect, but even with what you call "lies and torture" you can find any truth you want, such as yours. And you are free to disagree.  In other governments, such as communism, you have lies, with no truth, and death after the torture for not believing the lies.

  2. Why bother?  You already have your mind made up with your slanted question.

  3. well yes it has, the usa is following the USSR in policies( torture, spying on its own people, invading poor nations, having its own secret police( CIA and FBI) and )

and south america is almost all socialist, so no more democracy south of the border

Europe is killing its democracy by joining the EU
