Has/does anyone used Aflac for maternity leave? If so how long was it before you got your claim?

Yes, I have used Aflac for maternity leave. My situation may be a little different though because I got 5 weeks pay from my employer first and then the Aflac kicked in for the next 6 weeks. I got the payment (in one lump sum) immediately after my work pay ran out.

Also, be sure to have the claim form filled in BEFORE delivery, that way it doesn't delay anything. Have your doctor fill out what needs to be filled out first. Then give it to your employer to have them fill out the rest (except for dates of course). Then, whenever you let them know you're having the baby, they will fill in the date and mail it right away (or even fax or email it).
